[OVD11g] About DB Adapter Parameter "oracleNetConnectTimeout"

Hi Experts,

There is the "oracleNetConnectTimeout" element in adapters.os_xml for DB Adapter.

Question#1:

I understand this parameter can be read/changed on only adapters.os_xml file, not ODSM.

Is it correct?

Question#2:

Does it have effect on only "Oracle - Oracle Thin Driver" Database Type?

Question#3:

There is also the "Connection Wait Timeout" parameter (connectionWaitTimeout element) for DB Adapter.

What is difference between oracleNetConnectTimeout and connectionWaitTimeout for Oracle Thin Driver?

According to the following references, both mean timeout during connecting to backend DB.
