How do you install/use SES ? nTiers or single Tier ?

SES is delivered with 3 installation modes:

  - Install and configure oracle Secure Enterprise Search with Database and Middle-Tier

          Performs a single node, standalone installation of Oracle Secure Enterprise Search with the required Oracle Database and Oracle WebLogic Application server.

  - Install and configure oracle Secure Enterprise Search with Middle-Tier

          Performs installation of Oracle Secure Enterprise Search with the required Oracle WebLogic Application Server only.

          The Oracle Database must be pre-existing and can be remotely located single node or RAC Database.

  - Install and configure oracle Secure Enterprise Search with Middle-Tier

          Performs software only installation of Oracle Secure ENterprise Search. A Middle-tier containing Oracle WebLogicc Application Server is required.
