FCM Reporting - Generating Report - Underwhelmed?

Hi Oracle Community,

Hoping to find some like minded individuals who have been underwhelmed by the FCM Generated Reports Functionality.

Finance have really taken to this application here. The Dashboard functionality is great, then screen as easy to follow and the loading of Templates and Schedules is fairly straightforward. However the problem I am having is attempting to sell the Report functionality. Finance are interesting in being able to compare their End of Month Close procedures between periods and running this report really doesn't provide what they're after.

I have contemplated working with the html file, or possible moving to Excel and setting up some simple Macros.
