How to prevent image on first page repeating on every page in RTF template (PDF)?

Hi,

I am facing an issue in RTF templates (converted to PDF) where I have an image on the first page of my 4-page template (not in the header). For each customer, the template produces a four page PDF document. For some reason, the image repeats on EVERY PAGE of the output, instead of only on page 1, page 5, page 9, and so forth (i.e. only on the first page for every customer).

What is the reason for this? Changing the image formatting / alignment settings in Word has no effect.

On the other hand, an image on the second page works just fine
