Hi ,

As per Oracle document,SBC sends OPTIONS to verify the SA status when there is no active SIP traffic towards the SA (incoming traffic from SA does not suppress sending out OPTIONS)".

So if there is SIP traffic from SBC towards SA then no OPTIONS messages are sent. If there is no SIP traffic from SBC towards SA then there OPTIONS messages will be sent as per config.

If SBC will not send any OPTIONS message during SIP transactions, how does it check the SA health and what is the condition to put a SA OSS ?

Here is the Sample Scenario,

Howdy, Stranger!
