Putattachment() File Size

I am using Putattachment in my AE to transfer file from Linux to windows. I was able to do that for a file size of 10 KB however when I tried to load a file now with 3 MB, its failing (giving return code of 1). Is there a file size limitation using Putattachment?

The target server seem to have the correct permission for my user id.

Will it be related to target storage limit? Can you anyone help?
