Change in Search behaviour on PT8.54.16?

I am very used to running a lot of reports etc as I work on them. I often hit the search page and hit Enter to search, then Enter again to select the first run control ID in the list, or for that matter on pages to first search result. This was possible because the first search result would take the focus.
BUT, I just applied 8.54.16 to our demo and a development environment and I am noticing that the first search result no longer gets the focus, the focus stays in the the search box.
Personally, if this was an intended change I find it very annoying as it means more times to the mouse that I used to be able to avoid.
