ipmp configuration

Hi, am in my first ipmp configuration.  I have read the man pages and looked at the documentation, however I am stuck.  Maybe I am over thinking the configuration however I fail to understand how I assign my 2 physical interface to the virtual interfaces.  I would like to place one 1g and one 10g in an active/standby configuration using link based.  this is 'Oracle Solaris 11.2 SPARC".

If I do an ifconfig -a plumb I have 6 available  interfaces, using net3 and net7 ( not connected to a network yet) and attempting to attach to ipmp0 I get this error

ipadm create-ipmp ipmp0
