Large Journal Hung

A manual journal was entered, edited and posted with out a problem.  The dollar fields had multiple postions but the journal edited and posted as expected.  We ran an Allocation to copy data from one ledger to another.  As part of the data selection the entry above was picked up.  The allocation process created a new entry with over 4 million rows, this is normal for our process.  The allocation entry created was out of balance by .02.  We were able to edit and validate the journal.  We then submitted to post - the post has been running for over
