Secondary Pages in PT 8.54 versus earlier tools versions

Hi,

Being relatively new to working with secondary pages I have been experiencing a few challenges with them.  But right now, the main one I am encountering is that the secondary page when it opens is appending the _# in the URL.  I suspect this may be newish behaviour.  Maybe new to 8.54 (we were previously on 8.52 and I suspect but can't say for absolute certain that it may not have done this in 8.52).

So, my first question is - can anyone tell me if secondary pages in earlier tools versions actually open with the _# in the URL?

Second, does anyone know a way that we can control whether it does this or not for a specific link/button that is used to open a secondary page?
