Multiple non-global zones using global zone ipmp

I have be working on this for more than a day and I cannot get my head wrapped around it.  I believe I have a relatively simple configuration. I have 2 physical interfaces 10g and 1/g in an active/standby ipmp configuration.  The global and all non-global zones will share the same subnet.  This is what I have configured

~#ipmpstat -g

GROUP       GROUPNAME   STATE     FDT       INTERFACES

ipmp0       ipmp0       ok        --        net7 (net3)

~# ipadm show-if

IFNAME     CLASS    STATE    ACTIVE OVER

lo0        loopback ok       yes    --

ipmp0      ipmp     ok       yes    net3 net7

net3       ip       ok       no     --

net4       ip       ok       yes    --

net7       ip       ok       yes    --
