Revenue Recognition from OIC to GL

What is the best method to capture the revenue from OIC TO GL.

1) Sales data is tracked in external application

2) OIC Calculates only commissions

1) In OIC there are subledgers defined.Can I get the revenue information from OIC Sub ledgers and use it for transferring revenue to GL.Any information regarding OIC Subledgers ?

2) Do I need to build interface between external application and General Ledger to capture the Revenue?

Please advise the standard approach
