Unable to run a public query from query manager

Hello everybody,

Here is the scenario:

1      I created a PUBLIC query using query manager through the user profile "PS"

2      I have created a definition group (peopletools>security>definition security>definition group ) in which i inserted the query i just created .

               - Added a  primary permission list HCPPIND in the group permission tab

3     The query does not exist  when i search the query from the user profile HR_ADMIN whose profile has the primary permission list HCPPIND

Is there anything else i need to do to run a public query from a user who is not the creator of the query?
