Database Compare between Copy of Production and Old release demo

Hi,

I am running full Database compare, creating project UPGCUST, between copy of production and old release demo database for FSCM instance but application designer keep crashing after few hours of execution of the compare reports. I am on tools version 8.53.17. Is anybody aware of any workaround to fix the application designer crash issue.
