Stopping Target recon and filters

I have OIM 11g R2 PS2 installed with oid-11.1.1.6.0 connector for ODSEE. I have 2 questions

1. How do I stop "LDAP Connector User Sync Reconciliation" job once it has been kicked off, I tried clicking Stop button on the task in the UI, but it did not stop. Is there anyway that I can stop this or do I need to wait till it completes. There are lot of records, so it might take time


2. I have lot of users in LDAP, but have around 25,000 users in OIM, so I want to run "LDAP Connector User Sync Reconciliation" job with filter for say 100 users. How would I go about that, I do not see any filter option for this job. I am thinking of just updating the changelog entry for the last 100 users, try it out, once it is successful, delete the changelog entry and run full recon, but not sure if this would be the best option.
