Linux CUPS software not printing pdf checks to HP printer

We are testing paycheck printing in PeopleSoft using the peoplecode to send the pdf check directly to the printer. We are able to successfully print the pdf checks on RICHO printer from a couple of environments. However we are getting a blank page when printed using CUPS to an HP printer. Oracle re-installed the CUPS to resolve the issue but we still are not able to print the pdf checks.

Any help is greatly appreciated
