Why is the birthdate losing one day when downloaded to excel?

We are running queries to obtain the birthdate for employees.  When the results are viewed on line, the information is correct.  However, if the results are downloaded to excel, the information loses one hour of time.  Everything works correctly in  demo.  Any ideas on how to determine the issue? We are currently running PeopleTools 8.54.17 with HR 9.2 through image 15.
