I have a few scenarios i needed clarification

A)When a PeopleSoft Node is external and its URL is an HTTPS ,will the communication work if the Gateway URL is http?

I believe we have to import the certificate of that external URL in the keystore of the Gateway Web Server to make it work.

But i am not sure.

HTTP->HTTPS?

Pls clarify

B)If we have 2 IB Gateways(2  Webservers) loadbalanced by a VIP which has Wildcard SSL ,but the actual Web Servers do not have certificates will the Gateway be called a SSL IB Gateway.?

If not can we just import the root certificate from the wildcard certificate into the 2 web servers and load connectors?
