How can I start an APP ENGINE program outside of Peoplesoft or Peopletools.. (From VB.NET)

Hello.

I am loading staging tables, and need to start an APP ENGINE program from my vb.net program. The APP ENGINE runs the "HASH" function on FDM_HASH field.
