OAM SharePoint Integration in a HA env.

Hi All,

In our env, we have SharePoint 2013 in HA, with 2 Front end web servers & 2 App servers. I had installed and configured the webgate on Front-end web servers. And the integration is successful. I have below query.

1. Do we need to configure webgate & OAM Custom membership provider at App servers as well ?

2. Say, if we don't need ( at initial testing I have not seen any issues with User's experience with configuration only at web layer) then SharePoint website & central Administration sites on App servers will be at different membership providers. Does it cause any issue?
