We are trying to send email notification that W-2's are available in SS for employees who consented to receive them on line. The AE process PYYE_W2NOTFY runs to success and even updates record PY_SS_USA_GDE setting the notified flag = Y.

We are HCM 9.2 PUM 11 Peopletools 8.54.07 Tax Update 15-E. Oracle says (Doc ID 624207.1) addresses issue for Tools Version 8.2 to 8.4. Fix to come out April 2016. We were on Tools 8.4 last year and the workflow emails worked fine.


I have verified the BusActivity SEND_W2_NOTIFICATION is Active. Have a valid email address and W2 consent form. We do not get any SMTP errors on app server. Other emails from system working fine. Not sure what else to check.
