FSCM 9.2 Upgrade Source and PI

I will be performing an upgrade from

8.52 to 8.55

FSCM 9.1 to FSCM 9.2

Since i have to begin the upgrade soon I will be installing Upgrade Source the classical way using PeopleSoft Financials and Supply Chain Management 9.2 Full Install (through Update Image 11) (9.2.2.0.0), 3 files  from E-delivery

Q1)Please let me know if this is appropriate?

The reason I am not using Source Image FSCM 9.2.002 Upgrade Source Image as i believe there are a lot of required for upgrade patches in PI FSCM 9.2.0.16.

At the same time i cannot use PI FSCM 9.2.0.16.

So my plan is to download FSCM 9.2.0.16 PI Image and set it up in Virtual Box.
