Is OID LDAP-2 protocol supported LDAP server? Is OID Hierarchical-Schema LDAP?

We are integrating WebCenter Sites 12.1.2.1 with OID 11.1.1.7.

In WebCenter doc, there are options/alternatives for LDAP-2 supported and non LDAP-2 protocol supported LDAP servers. Also it checks Flat-Schema LDAP vs. Hierarchical-Schema LDAP.

I assume OID is LDAP-2 protocol supported and Hierarchical-Schema LDAP. I'd like to double confirm if my assumption is correct.
