Resetting of SYSADM password at DB level - how to do this?

Our previous implementing partner did not even bother to share the SYSADM password with us (since then I have had tried each time to log on to any of our instances using bootstrap mode but they would always fail); it is primarily due to this reason that we have been behind on bundles. Now, our current implementing partner, under a rush to commit to our obligations to fully implement our Campus Solutions system, wants to update bundles, but we couldn't proceed with updating due to the forgotten SYSADM password.

I have already read Knowledge article 609603.1 and know of the possible consequences. However, even our DBA is quite new to Oracle applications (the previous DBA who oversaw the installation has already resigned) and we would like to know what table holds the SYSADM password at the database level. Method 2 of the said article will be used here.

Howdy, Stranger!
