How to Change Diff of an item

Hi All,

I have a problem on my hand.

Retailer wrongly sets up 2 items(SKU level) belonging to same parent(Style Level). One item (A) is of Color PINK set up as BLUE in RMS and another item (B) is of color BLUE sets up as PINK. The color is defined using a diff.

The items are active for last 6 months and has a good amount of sales history maintained at SKU level, not at Style level.

So I have the below 2 options -

  1. Create new items correctly and discontinue current ones.

  2. Correct the diff (colors)

Option# 1 will be hectic for the retailer considering a number of factors like loading historical data, informing suppliers, reprinting labels etc.
