Hi

I noticed the following error in one of the OID logs between 1m and 11am on 7th Feb2016.

Exceeding maximum number of connections allowed. Num Conns = 1024, Max Conns = 1024, Closing the connection.

Approximately at the same time, some of our   customers reported that their Informatica ETL loads  failed with the below message .

"RR_4036 Error connecting to database [ Database driver error... Function Name : Logon ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specified Database
driver error... Function Name : Connect Database Error: Failed to connect to database using user [INFORMATICA] and connection string [<DB Name>].]."

Just wondering  whether  the OID max connections exceeded   is causing  the ETL loads fail..?   any ide a how to address this  issue and  how we can make sure the OID closes the connections properly..?

Howdy, Stranger!
