Journal Work Flow approval not working after Request for Information

Hi Experts,

I have Issue with work Flow where the approval for Journal is not working If I perform request for Information.

Scenario:

1. X, Y,Z are the Users belonging to the same dept.

2. X does a Budget Transfer & sends the JV for approval to Y

3. Y received Notification for Approval from X for the JV

4. Then Y requests for Additional Information via Request for Information to 'A' User who belongs to the Other dept

5. Once Y received notification via request Information & when Y clicks on approval.

6. Z users doesn't receive any Notification from Y.

work flow Notification doesn't work when we request Information from those users who belongs to other department.
