Citrix Netscaler load balancer with Weblogic

I'm trying to set up load balancing through a Citrix Netscaler load balancer to two single-domain, non-clustered Weblogic PIA's running on different Linux middleware servers, using SSL/TLS.  Has anyone done this successfully?  We're not sure if it's possible or not with this load balancer.

One reason we wonder about this is that there is a WebLogic plugin that we're supposed to enable, per Doc ID 653998.1 step 7.  From what we can see, this plugin communicates with a corresponding plugin on the front-end proxy (the load balancer, in this case), and facilitates session persistence in case of failover from one PIA to another.  However, we don't see any option to enable a WebLogic plugin on the Citrix load balancer.  What do these plugins actually do, and is there an alternative way to accomplish that task without the plugins?

Howdy, Stranger!
