Error when restarting dbtier DPK installation

Hello,

I am attempting to install a dbtier only FSCM PUM Image 17 dpk on Windows 2012R2.  I would like to customize the location of the oradata files, and so stopped the configuration at the usual spot.  I created the psft_customizations.yaml file as specified in c:\programdata\puppetlabs\puppet\etc\data\ as a copy of psft_deployment.yaml, and modified the 'psft_db' section to change the location of the DB Data files.  I then went to continue the puppet installation using 'puppet apply site.pp --debug --trace'.  However, I received the following error:

Error: The pt_app_midtier role can only be applied to env_type of midtier on node xx
