AD User Trusted Delete Recon - "Error Occured while retrieving the Search Root", "There is no such o

We are using trusted recon to populate OIM with users from ADLDS. In production, adding users is working but the delete recon is not. In out test environment, both functions are working.

Thus far, I have compared the IT Resources, Application Instances, ADLDS configs, and lookups but I cannot find any difference between the two configurations.

This excerpt is from the nonworking production connector server logs:
