Is it possible to strip the prepended ~ values from the results in the Webservice Connector LookupSe

When using the webservice connector <Resource> Lookup Reconciliation scheduled task,  the results that are added to the lookup table are always prepended with <ItResourceKey>~Code_Key_value and <ResourceName>~Decode_Value

Is there a simple or recommended way to get OIM to stop prepending to the code and decode values?
