Delete Deposit button is not getting enabled when clicked on Delete Worksheet

We have a deposit for which a payment worksheet got created.The accounting entries were generated and PAYMENT.GL_DISTRIB_STATUS='G'.

This  deposit did not post even though it was in applied status.  Now that the Feb period is closed we couldn't post it,.so,  attempted to delete the deposit and start over, but, even though I have deleted the worksheets I am unable to delete the deposit and the button is still greyed out.


.In the correct posting errors->payment navigation this deposit has an error "Accounting period not open".Could this be the reason why the delete deposit button is not getting enabled when we click delete worksheet button?or any condition do we need to check.
