How do we upgrade peopletools on the Upgrade Source Image?

I downloaded and stood up the FSCM 9.2 upgrade source image (9.2.002), which is built on peopletools 8.54.08. We are looking to upgrade the tools in the source image to 8.55.03 before proceeding with the rest of the upgrade and can't quite figure it out. Has anyone done this? Or could someone provide the high level steps to do so?
