Active-Active setup query

Hi

Customer has a requirement to have Active-Active for below components across 2 datacenters

OAM,OIM,OUD - 11gR2

For OAM, active-active across datacenters i did find Multi Datacenter setup details.

Question : Can OIM be setup as  active-active across to data centers ?

On each datacenter there will be one server hosting OIM components (OIM,SOA,BIP)

Is it recommended/supported to do stretch cluster for weblogic across 2 data centers or is there any other solution for OIM active-active

Any pointers would be of help.

Note - Customer uses AWS for their infrastructure so 2 datacenters here refers to 2 availability zones in AWS.
