Need to create a New Strategies in place of the existing one

My Requirement is this as mentioned in the summary

1. We would want to create a New Strategy with the different work items and treatment for scoring.

2. The existing strategy have been defined with the field for Change strategy set to "No" and tolerance limit set to "0".

3. My question is if I have to go with defining the New strategy with Change strategy set to "YES" would the old strategies and work items get closed immediately after running the IEX Strategy Management? Further  if I set the Automatic Switching to "No" would it  Keep the , the work items for the old strategies to gets completed before the new strategies are in place to the existing customer account?
