INV_HIST_LEVEL

We are currently upgrading to RMS v15, and we are researching changes to the system parameters that we set in our current version (v10).

According to the data model, there are three choices for INV_HIST_LEVEL:

  1. N - no inventory history is stored in item_loc_hist table
  2. I - end of week inventory for items that have had sales over the past week
  3. A - Capture end of week inventory for all items regardless of whether that item had sales over the past week.

I'm intrigued by the possibility of setting the parameter to 'A'.  However, I'm concerned about performance impacts.
