Using Spreadsheet Journal Upload Tool with IE 11

Has anyone used the Spreadsheet Journal Upload Excel tool in conjunction with IE 11?  Testing that right now and running into macro issue but not sure if it is related to the VDI environment we are testing in or if there is an issue with using it in IE 11.
