Anyone have a solution to the inconsistent OPRID value on journals that auto-reverse?

We have recently changed auditors and the new ones are questioning the OPRID value in PS_JRNL_HEADER for journals that auto-reverse.  When a user creates a new journal entry on 3/31 that is set to automatically reverse at the beginning of the next month (4/1), the original journal correctly shows the OPRID of the person that created the journal.  However, once the journal has been posted and the reversal is created on 4/1, the 4/1 journal has the user that posted the journal in the OPRID rather than the person that created the original 3/31-dated journal.  This has been going on
