Financial Sanctions: is delivered process simple or sophisticated?
Is the delivered Financial Sanctions list load process and search process a simple process of loading a list from the source (like US Treasury) and comparing against the Vendor catalog, or sophisticated enough to determine if there has been a change from the prior load of the list from the source?
What we have found is the delivered Financial Sanctions processes doesn't appear to be as sophisticated as ones offered by other solution providers, (such as SAP). The business stakeholder (who came from a company that used SAP) expects the list from the vendor to be loaded every day. Then have an intermediary check between the file delivered from the service and the PeopleSoft list to see if there are any changes (basically a delta). If no changes, then the vendor will not be checked. If there are, then the vendor will be included in the list to check to see
