New Installation of OIM - When to apply the BP04 and it's Post Patch steps?

I'm installing OIM 11.1.2.3.0 as a brand new install.   I also have downloaded the BP04 patch.  The readme of the BP04 patch (21698880) has post install tasks.

The new install of OIM 11.1.2.3.0 also has domain config.sh  and .numerous post install steps (create security store, ldap synch..etc).


For a new install, when and how do I incorporate the BP04 steps?




I also have another OIM install 11.1.2.3.4 that has been running for awhile, but I missed doing the BP04 post install steps.   Is it ok for me to do the post install steps now or will that negatively affect that install?


Please advise...
