How to manage import processes (with virtual warehouses)?

Hi All,

We want to import goods and want to track Transportation and Customs Entry in RTM. Warehouse can contain at the same time both stock which went through custom clearance and which is not yet. Some merchandise is bonded that we want to export and some merchandise is cleared that we want to distribute to stores.

What are the options of setting up the locations and/or the overall process for managing the import processes?

What is the functionality behind 'Importer' and 'Exporter' type virtual warehouses in RMS? Also, how can we use 'Routing Locations' and 'Invoice Locations' on a PO?
