interface elxnic is inaccessible in ipadm show-addr output solaris 11.3

Hi,

Please help me to resolve the network interface down. See below elxnic output:

ipadm show-if

IFNAME     CLASS     STATE     ACTIVE OVER

lo0               loopback     ok          yes        --

elxnic0          ip               failed     no          --

ipadm show-addr

ADDROBJ          TYPE          STATE               ADDR

lo0/v4                  static          ok                    127.0.0.1/8

elxnic0/v4            static          inaccessible     192.168.1.2/24

lo0/v6                  static          ok                    ::1/128

The OS is solaris 11.3 x86. What might be the problem why the interface is inaccessible?
