Polycom provision through access-backbone environment.

Hello all,

We are deploying an access-backbone scenario as described on guides. Customer is using Polycom devices and they are fully operative at SIP level.

Meanwhile, we are wondering if could it be possible to deal with device provisioning through the SBCs, in order to allow devices to keep their configuration and firmware updated. The tricky points are

  • devices only see the SBC public IP and they have no further info about what is there on Backbone
  • protocols are not SIP

We consider the static-flow feature for this pourposes but we saw some limitations, for example, if there were many provision suppliers on the backbone realm.
