PT8.55 introduced DPK as a method for delivering patches

With the release of PT8.55, Oracle introduced DPK (Deployment Packages) as a method for delivering patches. As part of the install, pt_compile_cobol.rb is installed (/etc/puppet/modules/pt_config/lib/puppet/type/pt_compile_cobol.rb)

Does anyone know what this file does ?
