GL Workcenter - when click on Journal ID link in the Journals Ready for Processing - an uncloseable

Hi PeopleSoft Comrades,

We are in the Demo 9.2/8.55 system at PUM 11.  When we pull up the GL Workcenter page - Journals Ready for Processing and then click on the Journal ID link - a window appears and the rest of the GL Workcenter is grayed out in the background.  I am signing in as VP1.

There is no apparent way to close this Journal Entry window.  The small x in the lower right corner pertains to the "Drag to resize" tool.  No matter how the gray bars are moved or the window is positioned, an "x" to close this window does not appear.  We are using IE 11.
