Dunning Letter Issue - APP-IEX-240253: Your correspondence request has failed

Hi

I'm in the process of testing Advanced Collections after a recent upgrade to R12 and can't get dunning letters to print.  I get the error message:

"APP-IEX-240253: Your correspondence request has failed"

And the work item details then shows the following error:

"Sending process failed: XML data generation failed"


I have raised an SCR with Oracle Support but they are unable to assist as we are using a custom template (although I'd imagine everyone uses a custom template for dunning letters).  They simply referred me to the custom template setup document, which I have been through a few times and the setup looks okay.
