Unable to send the delivered XMLP check report (APY2021X1) directly to printer

At Paycycle selection criteria >  preference, we updated the report output to XML publisher and ran the paycycle selection and creation process. After creation of payment , we clicked on process button by selecting the type as printer and specified the printer destination.

XMLP report output is not printed. However, when we try the same steps for crystal report , it is working.   Please let me know if we need to do any specific set up for XMLP report printer output.
