Tools upgrade 8.55 only from 8.52

Hi ,


We are moving from PT Tools 8.52 to 8.55. We have 6 AIX Unix Machines (6.1 version) and 2 Windows machine(2008 R2). Across Dev,UAT and Prod instance.

I have checked the compatibility and we would need to upgrade windows 2012 machine before upgrading peopletools.

My question is that What approach would be good to upgrade.

Approach 1: Do we ask for a fresh machines for 6 unix machines and 2 Windows 2012 machines and upgrade the one by one instance from Dev to test to prod on that. This will basically not impact my ongoing development and production application and would not require any downtime except when we will migrate the data from old to fresh upgraded.
