Average DPK install time

What is the average DPK install time in the Virtaul Box? I can unzip and create the OVA file just fine, but when it comes to creating the machine and configuring it the process slows way down. I am trying to load up HCM Image 17 and it takes hours now versus the half day setup before the DPK system. I give the virtual machine 10 GB of RAM, and 4 processors and it still takes hours. Am I doing the setup wrong? Is there something I am missing to make it faster?
