How to make Date prompt as optional in PS Query in Peopletools 8.50?

I created a PS Query with two Date Fields as Prompt. While running the PS Query, it is mandatory to pass values to those two Prompt Date Fields. In People Tools 8.54 there is a field 'Optional' to mark it as optional field. But in People Tools 8.50 that option is not available. In People Tools 8.50 how to make the Date Prompt as optional?
